How does the KRYPTON-PRO detector work
The KRYPTON-PRO detector works on the principle of ultrasound scanning in the 40KHz band, which is already outside the audible range for the human ear. The detector mixes this acoustic signal using heterodyne technology and converts it into an audible audio signal, which is further processed by a digital microprocessor.
How should I work with the detector?

The device is very easy to operate, it contains only one control element, which is a rotary selector with an integrated switch. It serves both to turn on the device and to control the volume.

After turning on, you aim at pipes or other pneumatic elements even from a distance of several meters and listen to the changes in the acoustic background – either through the integrated speaker or through headphones. Air leakage appears as a clear "acoustic hum".

What are the dimensions of the device?

The device has dimensions of 117x79x33mm, which makes it suitable for use as a pocket device.

What should I do with the collected data?
You can import the data collected by the detector from the memory into a PC using Wifi connectivity. Then, you can recalculate how many hidden leaks you have identified and how much money you have wasted through these leaks.
Is the detector also suitable for other uses?
The detector is primarily intended for finding hidden leaks in compressed air systems. However, it is also suitable for checking tightness and finding micro-leaks from air conditioning units, as well as for checking insulation damage on high-voltage wires.
